- 2023 -
Joining the 'erfgoedparade' Le Directeur choose Fort Honswijk as location for the 'Parade for the Earth'. This fortress is part of the UNESCO hertitage site 'De Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie' and deserves to be brought in the spotlight. Furthermore it fits the character of General Sunflower as the fortress used nature to it's advantage. We hope our parade on the 10th of september will bear fruit to more parades in the future!
The 'erfgoedparade' is an initiative of BOEi supported by de Vriendenloterij. It supports cultural makers in creating activities in vacant heritage. The activities aim to reach a wide audience, be affordable and have a low treshold to participate in.
In spring 2023 Le Directeur joined an open call for cultural makers. On the heritage list where castle's and fortresses that seemed like the perfect location for 'General Sunflower'. The aplication was submitted and approved!
- 2022 -
At 'Paleis het Loo' museum in the Netherlands we facilitated workshop for groups of children and their parents to become true royalties. In The Royal Encounters workshop they where tought court etiquette and General Sunflower drilled rectuits to march the palace gardens and put their sunflower rifles to good use for our planet.
Museum 'Paleis Het Loo' opens its gardens every summer for families. Children are asked to show up as their favorite queen, king, super hero or other fantisy being.
The gardens are coming alive by theater makers that take visitors on a journey. We created workshops and walkaround acts that fitted the royal venue.
- 2021 -
During the pandemic campings where thriving and so we where asked to create an interactive art program for a family glamping. We came up with a project to merge music-theatre with personal development. We called the world we created 'Massarium'.
Camp Common Grounds was the family glamping in Amersfoort (NL) that served as a pilot to an eco neighbourhood that would be build in the near future. At the glamping people interested in living in the yet to be build eco 'village' could get aqcuinted with the area and possible future neighbours.
The Massarium Project originated here and proved to be very succesful bringing parents closer together with their children and breaking the ice with other camping guests.
- 2020 -
During the COVID19 outbreak all events and bookings were cancelled. The desire to perform and create art became bigger and bigger while I was in quaranteen at home. We decided to put the 'TOZO' (government aid) to good use and started the #kunstknuffel (#arthug) project.
- 2018 -
Pr bureau Blyde was asked to launch the new Licor 43 Baristo bottle in Europe. In accordance with their mission statement they decided to do this in an innovative, risquée manner; by asking Le Directeur for help.
Hosting the event as Le General proved to be a perfect decision, the masculin floggers and bloggers were flattered.

TedX Amsterdam celebrated it's 10 year anniversary!
No party without a Birthday Boy; they asked Le Directeur to play the Big X - wich means jumping around like spongebob for ten hours! Epic!
